The new birdies,.....are certainly an evolution into nothingness. It is more and more evident as they become more technical and more real that its not about the birds at all. They have become the most difficult meditation for me. To sit still and be THERE for hours on end has become as much a part of the content of the work as any other element. The birds are as we are, simply students in a profound space of being,...The space in which they live,....the dialogue with the archetypal symbol of sphere or multiple spheres,....it is all IN THAT and certainly and ironically heading back to abstraction,...though who knows in what form. The spheres,....for those of you who ponder them represent the deepest most profound conception of love that you can find an understanding of within yourself. They are every thing that is, completeness. They represent love that is detached from wanting and needing. They are that most treasured and that within which we are nothing. Who would I be if I did not show you my nothingness. Rumi.
